Another picture I created for Paris Japan Expo 2010
This is more linked to japanese culture but,to change of Fox Spirits and other Tengus,I tried a combination with a different type of Legendary Creature!
This Mermaid makes trophies of the armors of the drowned samurais she traps!
...especially those who hunt her to make some sushi!

Cool! According to Japanese folklore, eating the flesh of a mermaid grants you eternal life and youth. So I suppose it makes tons of sense that this mermaid would hunt down such desperate seekers of immortality, including samurai.
